Snelling is recruiting an Accounting Specialist for a regional automotive dealership location in Hoover, AL. Searching for someone to join a team that provides exceptional customer service and maintaining a positive, collaborative work environment.

Hours: Monda-Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

Starting Pay: $18.00-20.00/hr

Key Responsibilities for Accounting Specialist

· Prepare and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

· Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger accounts

· Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements

· Perform data entry and maintain accurate accounting records

· Month end close activities

· High volume journal entry, preparation and posting

Qualifications for Accounting Specialist:

· 2-3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping required

· Prior dealership office experience preferred but not required.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook

· Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
