Faulkner University is seeking a qualified individual to serve as Center for Accessibility Coordinator. The selected individual will be responsible for assisting the director in coordinating services for students with disabilities as well as maintaining records, monitoring student accommodations, and scheduling/supervising student employees. Faulkner University is a Christian university affiliated with the churches of Christ.

This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position.

Summary of Duties:

• Communicate with outside entities on behalf of parents and students with disabilities
• Prepare correspondence; handouts, and check requests
• Interview, hire, and prepare personnel paperwork for student workers
• Coordinate tests, exams, and proctoring of exams for students
• Develop and maintain student files for those utilizing services
• Coordinate the note taking and tutoring services provided by the department
• Schedule and supervise student employees; submit and ensure accuracy of student timesheets
• Provide general clerical duties; coordinate overall basic operation of office

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred; minimum of high school diploma or GED required
• Minimum two years related experience preferred
• Active member of the church of Christ
