About the Position
The Odell Agency is seeking Benefits Enrollment Specialists who are committed to delivering exceptional client service while building long-term professional careers. This position combines client consultation, benefits education, and enrollment support within a structured development program. Previous insurance experience isn't required. We provide onboarding, licensing support, mentorship, and ongoing coaching designed to help new specialists develop the knowledge, confidence, and professional skills needed for long-term success. From your first day, you'll work alongside experienced professionals, follow established processes, and develop the skills required to confidently guide clients through important benefit decisions. Qualified applicants typically receive a response within one business day. Key Responsibilities
As a Benefits Enrollment Specialist, you'll help individuals and families understand their available life and supplemental health benefit options while delivering a professional client experience. Responsibilities include:
- Conduct client appointments in person or virtually.
- Assess client needs through thoughtful conversations.
- Explain available benefit options in a clear, educational manner.
- Complete enrollment applications accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain complete and organized client documentation.
- Provide follow-up throughout the enrollment process.
- Build long-term client relationships through responsive service.
- Participate in ongoing coaching and professional development.

Professional Development

This is a 1099 independent contractor position with performance-based compensation. First-year earning potential: $50,000–$120,000+ , depending on production and client retention. Additional opportunities may include:

Is previous insurance experience required?
No. We provide structured onboarding, coaching, and ongoing mentorship to help new specialists build the knowledge and confidence required for success. Is licensing required?
Yes. Qualified applicants receive support through our Life & Health Licensing Scholarship , which covers required licensing costs. What should I expect during onboarding?
Onboarding includes structured learning, mentorship, coaching, and guided client experience while completing licensing requirements. As proficiency develops, you'll continue receiving support while taking on greater responsibility. Is this an hourly position?
