The Carpenter will specialize in residential decks, porches, and dock construction and repair. Working primarily within small teams, this role involves tasks ranging from framing and decking to teardown and painting. Ideal candidates will bring hands-on carpentry experience and a commitment to quality and safety on renovation and remodeling projects.
Responsibilities
- Construct and repair residential decks, porches, and docks
- Perform teardown of existing docks and porches
- Measure, cut, and handle materials accurately
- Apply painting and finishing work
- Maintain clean and safe job sites
- Collaborate effectively within small teams (2-5 people)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of carpentry experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient in carpentry techniques, framing, and deck construction
- Painting skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of safety compliance standards
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
