Metals USA is seeking an experienced Credit Manager , to join our growing financial services team in Mobile, AL. The Credit Manager will be responsible for evaluating credit risk, conducting customer research and detailed financial analysis while ensuring financial compliance. This on-site position involves evaluating credit risks, managing payment processes, and ensuring financial documentation accuracy to maintain the company’s financial health.

Responsibilities

• Conduct credit analysis to evaluate customer creditworthiness
• Assess and monitor credit risk for existing and potential clients
• Track and monitor customer payments and overdue accounts
• Manage credit limits in line with company policies
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial documentation related to credit activities

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or associate degree in accounting, business administration, finance or a similar field
• Minimum of three year's experience with formal credit authority, financial risk analysis and/or credit policy ownership in industrial/fabrication/manufacturing related environment
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Strong analytical and organization skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
• Candidate must pass pre-employment drug testing

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in credit management

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field
