**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations at the retail or mall location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall premises and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
+ Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or unauthorized individuals within the location to management and/or law enforcement as required.
+ Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized entry.
+ Work collaboratively with on-site staff, Allied Universal team members, and local authorities as needed to address security-related issues.
+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Able to ride a bike.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
