Painter
Finish Painter
The Finish Painter is responsible for the proper application of paint. Ensures the highest quality product and meets customer specifications.
Follows and complies with all safety, work rules and regulations. Maintains departmental housekeeping standards.
Refers issues/problems to Team Lead, Supervisor or Manager for disposition.
Will ensure parts are prepared for paint application, including sanding, cleaning and taping
Make minor cosmetic repairs to parts
Mix paint according to customer specifications
Verify finished paint matches paint chip
Operate paint booth control systems including oven
Ensure spray guns are properly maintained
Keep floor paper and booth filters cleaned as needed
Other duties as assigned.
