Financial Paraplanner

Job Description We are looking for a Financial Paraplanner to join one of our retirement planning firms in Birmingham, AL. The following outlines daily responsibilities:  Solve complex retirement plans using analytical thinking and financial resources  Create and maintain financial plans for prospective clients meetings. This will include investment planning, insurance planning, tax planning, and retirement planning  Compile, analyze, and organize client statements and information for advisors meetings  Communicate with Advisor about current prospects and information vital to sales process  Utilize websites and software to obtain client and product information  Communicate with prospects to schedule meetings, obtain items needed, and answer questions pertaining to our process/financial strategies  Continual research and learning on current investment/ product/ economic developments  Develop, manage, and retain strong client relationships  Communicate and engage with team on tasks  Establish and maintain detailed prospect files We are a company committed to creating inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements 2+ years of Administrative office experience in a fast-paced environment   Financial Industry experience preferred   Intermediate to advanced skills with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel  Desire to obtain long-term employment Positive attitude  Elite interpersonal skills  Knowledge of key financial, investment, and risk management concepts  Ability to prioritize projects and manage time  Resourceful in problem resolution  Excellent communication both verbal and written with prospects, clients, and team  Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, proactive, and resourceful  Mathematical and analytical skills  Flexibility to contribute as part of a team as well as independently  Series 65 license  Life & Health license null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
