Manages the company's supply portfolio ensuring transparency of spending. The Senior Procurement Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. The Senior Procurement Professional will report directly into the Associate Director of Procurement and will create category strategies, design sourcing plans, oversee negotiations, implement contracts, and drive successful supplier relationships. This Senior Procurement Professional will support the Business Process Outsourcing category, within the Human Capital Category portfolio. They will also be responsible for ensuring strong alignment with, and becoming a trusted advisor to, key functional leaders. The Senior Procurement Professional will also partner with business and sourcing leadership in Humana's business segments to drive enterprise-wide value. **Use your skills to make an impact** **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree or equivalent procurement/sourcing experience + 4+ years of experience Sourcing, supply chain or vendor mgt with contracting experience + Experience partnering and presenting to Senior Level leadership + Experienced in negotiations with third parties + Strong financial and business acumen + Outstanding communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills, including assertiveness, courage, and the ability to influence others + Excellent relationship management skills, demonstrating mature confidence and integrity + Demonstrated ability to drive and implement sourcing programs and services aligned with business partner strategies + Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, both as a lead and as a part of a team + Ability to work in a team environment to collate and act upon feedback from all levels within the business and sourcing environments **Preferred Qualifications:** + Project Mgt experience + Experience with metrics and reporting **Additional information:** Remote Nationwide You must be authorized to work in the US without Humana sponsorship as Humana does not provide work visa sponsorship for this role. **_HireVue Statement_** _As part of our hiring process for this opportunity, we will be using an interviewing technology called HireVue to enhance our hiring and decision-making ability. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $78,400 - $107,800 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
