Where you’ll work

Location: 210 Haleyville Industrial Rd, Haleyville, AL 35565

Shifts (Mon–Thu): 1st shift 5:00am–1:30pm (to 3:30pm with OT); 2nd shift 3:00pm–12:00am (to 2:00am with OT). Friday overtime as needed.

Pay: $18.00/hour starting rate. Note: this pay detail applies to Haleyville only and may differ at other locations.

What you’ll make happen

• Run production and assembly equipment safely and efficiently; help train new and current operators.
• Inspect products, perform measurements and weight checks, and respond to quality issues using documented work instructions.
• Assemble components with a focus on safety, accuracy, and repeatability.
• Apply Masonite Lean techniques (including 5S+1), contribute to plant and safety Kaizens, and help implement poke-yokes to prevent defects.
• Read production schedules, list counts, and complete all required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Set up, adjust, and perform basic operator care and minor preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Stage and move materials; operate forklifts and KVAL lifts as needed.
• Assist Maintenance, Quality, and Management when troubleshooting equipment, process, or material issues.
• Maintain downtime and production records; keep your area clean and organized.
• Wear appropriate PPE and follow EHS procedures; complete weekly EHS audits.

What you’ll bring

• Preferably 1+ year in a manufacturing environment.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen

Skills that set you up for success

• Basic reading/writing; able to read a tape measure.
• Shop math: add/subtract fractions and whole numbers; convert fractions to decimals.
• Comfort reading and interpreting work orders, measurements, and quality standards.
• High manual dexterity; strong teamwork and communication.
• Self-directed with strong attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
• Lift up to 80 lbs; frequent bending, twisting, and stooping; stand for extended periods.
• Work in a mildly controlled environment (seasonal heat/cold, light dust).
