Job Description
The Housekeeping Team Member plays a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and order within our hotel. Working primarily during day shifts, you will ensure guest rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of hygiene and comfort. Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor and Operations Manager, you will collaborate closely with your team to deliver exceptional service using standard cleaning tools.
Responsibilities
- Clean guest rooms and public areas according to hotel standards
- Manage laundry tasks, including sorting, washing, and folding linens
- Set up rooms with necessary amenities and supplies
- Maintain accurate inventory of housekeeping supplies
- Dispose of waste responsibly
- Interact professionally and courteously with guests
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of housekeeping experience, preferably in a hotel environment
- Knowledge of effective cleaning techniques and laundry handling
- Strong time management and attention to detail
- Ability to work well within a team
