Job Description

As a Security Officer - Warehouse Patrol in Northport, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support staff, patients, and visitors with calm customer service, clear communication, and prompt reporting of concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies, disruptive behavior, and alarms, and/or requesting additional assistance as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to identify hazards or maintenance concerns for reporting.
• Complete security-related reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, and/or communicate timely updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Monitor entry points, visitor flow, and restricted areas by verifying credentials, providing directions, and supporting staff with security-related assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
