What You’ll Need:
- Valid Professional Educator Certification
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders from a regionally accredited college/university
- Knowledge of legislation, regulations, and best practices for children with disabilities
- Familiarity with pediatric/adolescent development, medical/psychological diagnostics, and disability terminology
- Ability to analyze data and interpret regulations
- Strong skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Effective communication—oral and written
- ASHA Certification and ABSESPA Licensure (preferred)
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver on-site direct and consultative SLP services
- Manage caseloads assigned by student needs and locations
- Conduct assessments, contribute to IEPs, and maintain detailed documentation
- Collaborate with diverse educational teams and families
