Resident Services Director/Assistant Living Coordinator

Job Summary:The Resident Services Director/AL coordinator will foster the human experience by interacting with residents in all areas of daily life, including providing direct nursing care to residents, as well as leading the day-to-day nursing activities performed by the care team. You will collaborate and build strong relationships with clear communication.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Assists in determining the type of staffing needs by client care, preparation of the team, and needs prescribed by the physician.
- Assist with weekly physician rounds.
- Provides services (ADLs and Medication Supervision) by specific written orders from a physician.
- Coordinate the clinical team in planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating total care within the Community.
- Records all services given on appropriate forms or Point Click Care devices.
- Reports and documents pertinent information and prepares progress notes.
- Helping the residents to maintain good personal hygiene.
- Maintains a safe work area free from hazards of fire, spills, chemicals, and equipment.
- Reports any problems to the Executive Director.
- Providing routine individualized healthcare needs.
- Monitoring or reporting changes in health status.
- Maintaining records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report.
- Discussing observations with the leader.
- Recording vital signs monthly such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration rate.
- Med Administration.
- Rotating Manager on Duty.
- Nursing On-Call Rotation.
- Facilitate Team In-service Training and Mentoring of all care teams.
Education and Experience:
- Certified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Register Nurse (RN)- Active License Required.
- Minimum 3-4 years experience working as LPN/RN in an Assisted Living Community.
