**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
+ Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns within the healthcare environment to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
+ Assist with access control, monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry and support a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
+ Maintain a visible presence throughout the healthcare location to help to deter potential disturbances and provide reassurance to those on-site.
+ Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly as directed by Allied Universal and client requirements.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.
+ A guard card or license is preferred.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
