What You’ll Do

1. Prepare and maintain resident medical records from admission through discharge
2. Ensure all required documentation is accurate, complete, and timely
3. Review physician orders, MARs, and TARs for proper transcription
4. Perform routine chart audits for compliance and completeness
5. Compile and close discharge records
6. Ensure physician signatures and required documentation are obtained
7. Support nursing and administrative teams with record retrieval and organization

Qualifications

1. Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
2. Experience in long-term care preferred
3. Knowledge of medical terminology and physician orders
4. Strong organizational and documentation skills
5. Basic computer and EMR experience required
6. Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
