Soft Count Attendant

: Job Overview: 4am-until (Shift subject to change based on business needs) The Soft Count Attendant must be knowledgeable in all aspects of the gaming operation and is responsible for adequately and accurately handling currency transactions. Must be competent, dependable, and trustworthy. Duties and Responsibilities: Conducts the drop and fills kiosk machines Generates End of Day reports used to balance kiosk machines Troubleshoots issues with Kiosk while performing the Kiosk Drop and Fill to ensure they are online Maintains the gaming floor and kiosk drop at irregular hours of the day Safeguards company assets when performing the Kiosk and Gaming Floor Drop and Count Operates the Drop Tracking System to accurately record assets Operates the currency counter to accurately record assets from the gaming floor and Kiosk Count Operates the coin counter to accurately record assets Prepares diverse reports in an accurate and timely manner as required Confers regularly with the Soft Count Supervisor to keep informed of all aspects of financial matters, operating procedures, and seeks direction as needed Organizes count processes quickly and records transactions correctly and efficiently Abides by procedures that comply with all applicable laws, policies, and procedures regulating accounting principles including Tribal, Federal, and State requirements Ensures that all applicable operating policies and procedures are adhered to at all times without deviation and be extremely knowledgeable of the Minimum Internal Control Standards and Fiscal Policies and Procedures Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Job Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying ) High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within 6 months from start date as a condition of continued employment Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older One (1) year of high volume cash handling experience is required (skills test will be administered)- required Must successfully pass a timed math skills test Should possess experience with accurately handling large monetary transactions and machinery affiliated with the process Must be able to stand for entire shift Must be able to lift 50 pounds with no assistance Must be able to work in bent position for extended periods of time Must be able to push/pull large Drop Cages on wheels weighing 1,100 pounds Must be able to work at a fast and physical pace Demonstrated ability to work in a team oriented atmosphere Demonstrated ability to complete task accurately in allotted time Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing Willing and able to work odd or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required Must have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position Must have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment NATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN PREFERENCE IN HIRING POLICY SHALL BE ADHERED TO AT ALL TIMES On-line applications are accepted at .
