Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Support student communication and growth as a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Talladega, AL, serving K-12 students during the 20252026 school year. This full-time, contract position offers an opportunity to provide essential speech and language therapy services within an educational setting, helping children develop critical communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and provide therapy for speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student progress
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid Alabama SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows and SLPAs with current Alabama licensure are encouraged to apply
• Commitment to supporting school-aged childrens communication development
