Established in 2000, Rabren General Contractors has been building places and communities for over two decades, growing into one of the largest privately held general contractors in Alabama with experience across a variety of market segments, including K-12 and Higher Education, Multifamily and Student Living, Hospitality, Sports & Recreation, Government, Office, Healthcare, and more.

RGC is looking for a motivated and results-driven team player to join our Marketing team. This position is open to all college students interested in pursuing a professional career in marketing or business development.

Duties & Responsibilities of the Marketing Intern:

• Develop, implement and refine innovative, comprehensive plans for marketing, communications and public relations, both internal and external, that are targeted to support and drive the strategic goals of RGC.
• Create and/or edit compelling and consistent internal and external marketing and branding messaging across a mix of communications platforms, including direct marketing, internet and social media, using a mix of communications tools
• Standardize and coordinate the appearance of all RGC print and electronic materials, such as letterhead, use of logo, brochures, for consistent “look, style and feel”
• Assist in the development of RGC project proposals and employee resumes
• Develop and drive an integrated website and social media strategy that clearly and consistently delivers RGC marketing and branding messages
• Organize and coordinate strategic external involvement by RGC executives, including attendance, speaking, and sponsorship opportunities at industry, association, and community events.
• Coordinate internal communications, publicizing “good news,” new hires, employee accomplishments, using and integrating platforms to effectively reach RGC employees
• Plan and organize RGC employee events
• Maintain an archive and style portfolio of all publications/materials

Preferences:

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Professional experience in social media strategy and website design
