OFFICE MANAGER/BOOKKEEPER
MONTGOMERY, AL

Summary: Oversees daily office operations and manages the company’s financial records; ensuring smooth administrative workflow, accurate accounting, and compliance with company policies while being organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day office operations, including scheduling, correspondence, and supply inventory
• Handle full-cycle bookkeeping: accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries
• Prepare and maintain financial reports, including monthly and year-end statements
• Process payroll and maintain employee records in compliance with HR policies
• Coordinate with outside CPA for tax preparation and audits
• Monitor budgets, track expenses, and assist in financial planning
• Maintain organized filing systems for financial and administrative records
• Support management with administrative and operational projects as needed
• Oversee vendor relationships and office contracts (utilities, insurance, maintenance, etc.)
• Ensure a professional, efficient, and positive office environment
  

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in bookkeeping and office management
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), and general office software
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
