Program Overview

About The Role

We are hiring a Hardware Configuration Manager to provide technical support to a DoD Project Office. This position will be onsite in Huntsville, Alabama.

What you’ll do:

• Research, review, update, develop, and provide recommendations for ASE program requirements including acquisition documentation.
• Configuration/Data Management and support services in the execution of contractual actions.
• Support the planning and execution of Configuration Audits to support the prototype, production, and fielding of ASE assets.
• Support the conduct of Configuration Change Boards (CCBs) to review, comment and disposition proposed Change Notices (CNs), Revision Notices (RNs), Change Proposals (CPs), Requests for Variance (VARs) and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) of ASE products.
• Adhere to the ASE Configuration Data Management Plan (CDMP) and CM policies.
• Review, track, update, and archive ASE Product CDRLs and configuration control documents (to include specifications, Interface Control Documents, and Engineering Change orders) to manage approved ASE Product design baseline.
• Review the ASE CDMP annually and provide update as required.
• Provide technical expertise and advice in acquisition integration and coordination efforts by reviewing, compiling, and documenting schedules, acquisition strategies, work statements, system studies decision coordination papers, program baseline documents, test and evaluation data, and material release documents.
• Provide input and recommendations to develop and assist in the implementation of the configuration management and data management systems.
• Participate and provide input, advice, and recommendations to Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) which may include members of PMO ASE, USG matrix support personnel, prime Contractor personnel, and other Contractor personnel.
• Review, comment, and disposition all PMO ASE Product contract delivery CDRLs in a timely manner to ensure the USG CDRL review timelines as identified on the CDRL form.
• Develop and/or review specifications/documents/drawing packages related to system aircraft integration, interface control, software qualification, test and evaluation, and airworthiness qualifications for all ASE systems.
• Support the foreign military sales of PM ASE Products by providing technical expertise in the review and development of associated documentation and the integration of its Products.

Qualifications

What you'll need:

• Education: 7 years with AA; 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; in lieu of degree, 9 years of applicable experience will be acceptable.
• Clearance: Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Experience in positions directly related to Hardware Configuration Management.
• Demonstrated knowledge of processes and procedures associated with managing programs subject to complex hardware configuration chellenges.

SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range

Details

Target Salary Range: $86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
