Business Operations Manager (E-Rate)

Our work depends on Operations Manager joining our team to lead the Business Services Team supporting the Alabama Supercomputer Authority (ASA) and the successful execution of the contract GDIT holds with ASA.

HOW AN OPERATIONS MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Provide leadership and manage the day-to-day operations of tasks and activities business services and E-rate team.
Ensure that our business services team is operating at optimal efficiency

Work closely with the technical team to develop pricing models and ensure E-rate compliance with all E-rate services.
Support the client and work with them to achieve strong customer service and program success.
Support transition activities, as needed.

Aligns teams, sets goals, executes initiatives, and improves processes for the specific business units.

Analyzes current processes and workflows to help the organization run efficiently and effectively.

Analyzes budgets for equipment needs of the business.

Create business strategies to achieve business targets.

Work with and lead the team in resolving challenges and ensuring that attention to detail is a top priority.

Keeps current with Federal e-Rate rules to ensure compliance with E-Rate protocols.

Work both independently, providing team leadership, and in collaboration with a team of business professionals.

Use Excel and other technology to perform business functions such as pricing, budgeting, forecasting, data analytics, etc.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Requires a Bachelor's degree in business administrations, computer Sciences and 10 years' business management experience with 5 years of E-rate experience.

Strong communication- written and verbal communication skills, problem solving.

Preferred Skills:
  • E-rate experience.
  • Advanced Excel / Team Leadership / People Management / Financial Competence / Understanding of Information Technology Concepts / E-rate.

The likely salary range for this position is $110,500 - $149,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
