Qualys Consultant

Northwest Partners is engaged in a strategic initiative with a well-established technology organization and seeks an experienced Qualys SME to support and enhance their vulnerability management environment. This role will focus on ensuring optimal coverage, implementation review, and operational efficiency.

What YOU will do
Oversee scanning tools and ensure vulnerability coverage across the targeted environment
Review existing implementation and provide solution best practices aligned to business needs
Analyze vulnerabilities based on CVSS scores, exploitability, threat intelligence, and business context
Collaborate with system owners and stakeholders to coordinate patching, configuration updates, and compensating controls
Recommend improvements to support ongoing optimization and operational use cases

What YOU will bring us
Experience supporting and optimizing Qualys environments. 4-5 years of experience
Strong experience with vulnerability management, prioritization, and remediation processes
Ability to interpret technical requirements and apply business context to threat evaluations
Experience with enterprise systems, patch management, and security best practices
Effective collaboration skills to interface with various technical and non-technical stakeholders
