About the Role

We’re looking for a detail‑oriented CNC Operator with hands‑on experience running CNC lathes or mills. If you take pride in precision machining, enjoy solving problems on the shop floor, and want to be part of a team that values craftsmanship, this role will feel like home.

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC lathes or milling machines
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
• Perform tool changes, offsets, and adjustments to maintain part accuracy
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools
• Maintain equipment, keep work areas clean, and follow safety protocols
• Collaborate with supervisors and programmers to optimize machining processes

• Proven experience operating CNC lathes or CNC mills
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
• Familiarity with G‑code adjustments (a plus, not required)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to lift 40+ lbs and stand for extended periods
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bessemer, AL.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Bessemer,AL.
