TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, 35401!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year, 2 years preferred License: Registered Nurse license from Alabama or Compact license (No Temporary Licenses accepted) Certifications: AHA BLS or Red Cross equivalent Must-Have: - Associate degree in nursing - 1 year of recent experience in the specialty Description: This position requires a travel nurse for a trauma surgical unit. The nurse will care for acute care trauma and surgical patients. The nurse must be willing to float to other units and hospitals. The role includes a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:6. Collaboration with family practice physicians and surgical specialists is essential. Individualized attention to patients hospitalized for illness, surgery, and observation is a priority. Holiday work and every other weekend availability are required. The unit also provides care for orthopedic and urology patients.
