Looking for an experienced, seasoned and savvy Hotel General Manger for a Marriott Property.

Candidate must have a minimum of two years of experience in Hotel Management and as a GM.

Having General Manager certification from Marriott is a plus. Responsibilities include:

* Getting completely well versed with the brand standards

* Bring motivating leadership and lead by example

* Getting involved in all departments and have a hands-on management

* Hire, Train & Terminate associates

* Property level Revenue Management on a daily basis

* Managing Accounts Receivable and Payables

* Bi-weekly Payroll Management and work with third party payroll processer

* Have weekly/ monthly/quarterly department meetings

* Monitor, track and share performance results coming from guest surveys & initiate corrective actions

* Set performance goals and make it achievable through proper training and motivation

* Stay on top of Hotel's life safety systems and ensure a hazard free safe hotel

* Must be well versed with Financials, STR Reports and coding

* Must be willing to do a daily huddle to guide and direct associates

* Must spend at least 75% out and about all areas of the hotel and 25% in the office

* Must be budget oriented to attain financial goals & targets

* Must be willing to travel to attend Conference and Training workshops

* Must be willing to do anything and wear multiple hats to make the hotel & the team succeed

* Must be a Team-Developer and Team-Player and actively involved

* Must maintain employee-morale by treating all fair and nice

* Must dress in business professional attire

* Hardworking, sensible, knowledgeable and raise to the occasion

* Inspect rooms, check quality of work to ensure guests are happy with their stay

* Maintain Ethical & Moral standards in all of operations by doing the right thing

* Run local and nearby errands as required necessary

* Monitor and uphold Lost & Found system

* Develop and maintain positive business relations with Guests, Associates and Vendors

* Must be always prepared for BSA audits and perform well
