About the Role:
As a Sales Consultant at Joe Bullard Ford in Grove Hill, you will play a pivotal role in driving vehicle sales and delivering exceptional customer service. Your primary objective will be to understand customer needs, present suitable vehicle options, and guide clients through the purchasing process to ensure satisfaction and loyalty. You will act as a trusted advisor, providing detailed product knowledge and facilitating test drives to help customers make informed decisions. Collaborating closely with the sales team and management, you will contribute to achieving dealership sales targets and maintaining a positive reputation in the community. Ultimately, your efforts will directly impact the dealership’s growth and customer retention by fostering long-term relationships and repeat business.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in automotive sales or a related customer-facing sales role.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience selling Ford vehicles or working in a Ford dealership environment.
- Knowledge of automotive financing and leasing options.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
- Certification in automotive sales or related professional development courses.
- Bilingual abilities to serve a diverse customer base.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and engage customers promptly and professionally upon arrival at the dealership.
- Assess customer needs and preferences to recommend appropriate Ford vehicles and financing options.
- Conduct vehicle demonstrations and test drives to showcase features and benefits.
- Negotiate sales terms and finalize contracts while ensuring compliance with dealership policies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Ford products, promotions, and industry trends.
- Follow up with prospective and existing customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Collaborate with the finance and service departments to facilitate smooth transaction processes.
- Document all sales activities and customer interactions accurately in the dealership’s CRM system.
Skills:
The required skills such as strong communication and interpersonal abilities are essential for building rapport with customers and understanding their vehicle needs effectively. Negotiation skills are used daily to close sales while ensuring customer satisfaction and dealership profitability. Product knowledge allows the Sales Consultant to confidently present vehicle features and benefits, enhancing the customer’s buying experience. Familiarity with CRM software helps in managing customer information and tracking sales progress efficiently. Preferred skills like knowledge of financing options and bilingual communication further enhance the ability to serve a wider range of customers and streamline the sales process.
