Valley Hill Country Club is seeking an experienced, professional Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in delivering exceptional hospitality, building relationships with Members, and maintaining a polished, upscale bar environment. This is a full-time opportunity to work in one of Huntsville's premier private clubs while providing outstanding service during daily dining, tournaments, weddings, banquets, and special events.

· Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Club recipes and service standards.

· Deliver friendly, attentive, and personalized service to Members and guests.

· Build relationships with Members while creating a welcoming bar atmosphere.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout each shift.

· Monitor inventory levels and assist with stocking liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and supplies.

· Process Member charges accurately through the Club's POS system.

· Verify identification and comply with all Alabama ABC laws and responsible alcohol service practices.

· Assist with restaurant service, banquets, weddings, golf tournaments, and other Club events.

· Work closely with servers, barbacks, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth, efficient service.

· Complete opening and closing duties, including cleaning, stocking, and securing the bar.

· Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and Club service standards.

· Perform other duties as assigned to support the Food & Beverage team.

· Must be at least 21 years of age.

· Strong bartending experience is required. Experience in a private club, fine dining restaurant, upscale bar, or luxury hospitality environment is strongly preferred.

· Extensive knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and classic cocktails.

· Outstanding customer service and communication skills.

· Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.

· Professional appearance, positive attitude, and team-oriented mindset.

· Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

· Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, tournaments, weddings, and Club events.
