Hardware Development Director

**Job Description** This is a key role within the Manufacturing and Operations team. This individual will be responsible for a matrixed organization, report directly to the Manufacturing and Operations VP, and will be the lead for all manufacturing partners in the region. **Responsibilities** Be on the technology and supply chain forefront for the Manufacturing and Operations team within Supply Chain Operations. As the regional Supply Chain Director, you will lead a regional matrix organization, be the leadership interface with the regional manufacturing partners, and support the balance of the Manufacturing and Operations team. In partnership with Design Engineering, External Manufacturing Partners, Commodity Management, Planning, Data Center Operations, and your Operations peers you will lead the external manufacturers to meet the rapidly growing and changing demands of our customers. Success requires a well-rounded leader who can navigate an ambiguous and fast-paced organization, and capable of both strategic and deep tactical engagement as appropriate. You will need to be a self-starter, communicate effectively, and be courageous enough to challenge the status quo. This role will require on-site interaction with our EM partners in the region. We are focused on bringing new products to market and sustaining high quality throughout the lifecycle in a way that exceeds customer expectations. + Lead a matrixed organization in the region supporting our manufacturing partners. + Provide thought leadership and influence multiple functions to create and implement a world class Supply Chain operation. + Build strong partnerships to drive continuous and meaningful improvement with our suppliers throughout the Product Life Cycle. + Create a culture that balances agility and flexibility with the expectation of new products that can scale. + Report directly to the VP of the Manufacturing and Operations team **Responsibilities** **Qualifications** + BA/BS degree relevant to supply chain operations + 10+ years of leadership experience in supply chain and business operations + Experience managing external manufacturing partners with a highly complex product portfolio. + End to End Supply Chain Operations experience through to installation at the customer site. + Attack problems analytically, outstanding business judgement, and an ability to present data in a clear and compelling manner. + Demonstrated ability to lead complex and strategic initiatives. + Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. **Location** This position is in Houston Texas - co-resident with our manufacturing partners. Occasional travel to Oracle facilities or other contract manufacturing facilities around the world may be required. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
