Preferred qualifications and desired experience:
- Current Alabama Teacher’s Certification with an endorsement in Math
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
- Ability to create a classroom atmosphere that encourages both academic and personal growth
- Skilled in building effective rapport with students and fostering a motivational atmosphere
- Comfortable integrating technology to enhance learning and keep students engaged
- Strong communication skills, particularly in collaborating with parents and colleagues
Primary responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain a positive, welcoming environment conducive to learning
- Motivate students to develop foundational math skills, positive attitudes, and a lifelong love of learning
- Utilize technological resources to maximize engagement and prepare students for success in an evolving world
- Collaborate effectively with families, co-workers, and the broader school community
- Take on additional duties as assigned by school leadership to support students and school initiatives
