Job Description
The Corporate Warranty Specialist role will be vital to the growth and development of our maintenance department. This role will be responsible for making sure we are actively maintaining our warranty program. This role will also be responsible for making sure our team members are set up for success and knowledgeable in reference to the warranty parameters for the various make and model assets within our fleet at any given time.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:
- Will be responsible for ensuring that the warranty templates are accurate and updated in the maintenance system of record while being visible to all personnel as they perform their duties.
- Will review the process associated with determining if all warrantied repairs were correctly coded while ensuring that any missed opportunities are corrected and properly filed and communicated with the various OEM’s.
- Will review estimates and invoices in search of missed warranty & policy opportunities.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent ( Required ).
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience ( Preferred ).
- 1+ years of warranty experience is preferred.
- Experience in the transportation industry is preferred.
- Experience in the service industry ispreferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Good judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Strong sense of personal accountability and a proven track record of achieving desired results
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
- Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
