We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented IT Technical Assistant to support our IT department with daily system checks, equipment tracking, and basic technical support. This role assists with maintaining computer systems, monitoring backups, and helping ensure company technology runs smoothly.
This position is ideal for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in IT support, system monitoring, and asset management.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform daily checks of system backups across company locations.
• Monitor the health of servers, computers, and network equipment.
• Verify that software updates and security patches are current.
• Assist with tracking and maintaining records of company IT equipment.
• Ensure computers and devices are correctly assigned to employees.
• Provide basic troubleshooting support for common IT issues.
• Assist IT staff with projects such as hardware installations, cable runs, and equipment setup.
Qualifications
• Interest in Information Technology
• Basic knowledge of computers, hardware, and software
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues
• Good communication and willingness to learn
