Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in Cullman, AL is seeking a skilled School Psychologist or School Psychometrist for a contract position lasting the current school year (CSY). This role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive educational environment, providing psychological services to meet the diverse needs of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students across K-12 grade levels
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop tailored educational plans
- Provide counseling and support services to students to enhance academic and social-emotional outcomes
- Interpret assessment results and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to intervention strategies
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist or School Psychometrist
- Experience working within K-12 educational settings
- Strong knowledge of psychological testing and assessment tools
- Ability to work effectively with children, parents, and school staff
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
