**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
+ Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
+ Carry and maintain assigned firearm responsibly in accordance with company policies and local regulations.
+ Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities encountered during patrols.
+ Assist with emergency response activities and support law enforcement or emergency personnel as needed.
+ Maintain awareness of surroundings within an aerospace and defense environment, adapting to varying working conditions as required by the site.
+ Communicate clearly with team members, site personnel, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ An armed guard card or license is required.
+ A valid firearms permit is preferred.
+ CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.
+ Handcuffing certification is preferred.
+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
