**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as appropriate within the healthcare environment.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting staff, visitors, and patients as needed.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues, adapting to the unique environment of a healthcare location.
+ Monitor for unusual activity and report any irregularities according to site protocols.
+ Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and patients while addressing security-related concerns or providing directions.
+ Assist with access control by verifying credentials and observing entry and exit points as required by site-specific guidelines.
+ Support Allied Universal in maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to those within the location.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
