Metro Services is seeking to immediately fill Assembly Operator positions for a Manufacturing company in Huntsville, AL. This is a temp/contract role. Apply now!

Duties for this position include:

• Assemble parts and materials according to written, illustrated, and/or verbal instructions such as work orders
• Utilize adhesive tape, glue gun/roller, heat gun, sonic-welder, drill, slabber, bandsaw, slitter, press machine, down cutter, welder, and other equipment as needed
• Stage parts and prepare for shipping
• Support completion of documentation as required
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
• Comply with established quality and safety standards
• Report quality errors, material issues, and other concerns as required
• Report any safety issues
• May operate a forklift as required to complete tasks
• Complete other tasks and support different workstations as production needs require

Compensation (USD):

$17.00/hour

Schedule:

1st Shift
Monday - Friday
5:00 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.

Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:

• High School Diploma, GED, or 1–3 months related experience/training, or equivalent combination
• Ability to complete training within the time specified
• Proficiency in reading a tape measure is preferred
• Forklift certification required for forklift operation (not all employees in this position will operate a forklift)
• Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, twist, lean over, and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen
