Job Type: Part-Time (2:30-6:30 PM) About the Role We are seeking a dependable and caring Childcare Teacher Part Time to assist with classroom support and end-of-day routines in our early childhood learning center. This position helps teachers maintain a safe, organized, and engaging environment while ensuring children are supported and supervised throughout the afternoon and closing hours. The ideal candidate is flexible, enjoys working with young learners , and can provide extra support wherever its needed to help classrooms run smoothly. Key Responsibilities
- Assist teachers with daily classroom activities and routines .
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment .
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, transitions, and closing routines .
- Prepare and set up learning materials and classroom activities .
- Provide additional support in classrooms as needed to ensure a smooth end-of-day process .
- Collaborate with staff to maintain a positive and nurturing classroom environment .
- High School Diploma or equivalent required .
- Experience working with young children or in a childcare setting preferred .
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills .
- Reliable, flexible, and able to assist in different classroom environments .
- Patient, supportive, and enthusiastic when working with children.
- Experience in a childcare center, preschool, or daycare environment .
- Understanding of child development and play-based learning .
- Ability to support teachers and help maintain structured routines .
- Positive attitude and willingness to adapt to the needs of different classrooms .
