Job DescriptionThe Director, Product Management – Nonprofit is responsible for a product category within our portfolio of nonprofit-focused software solutions, driving and shaping the overall product strategy and roadmap with a focus on people leadership and customer impact. You will mentor and manage a team of Product Managers and collaborate cross-functionally to identify opportunities, set product direction, and guide product releases that serve mission-driven organizations. You will be the leader and end-to-end owner for a group of products including Daxko Operations, Daxko Accounting, and Daxko Core, dedicated to driving the group’s growth and value with a metrics-driven mindset.
This role is responsible for setting the vision and market strategy for our nonprofit product suite, developing business cases, building roadmaps, and achieving financial and customer experience goals. As the leader for this product category, you will own and execute the go-to-market strategy across teams and ensure successful launches, adoption, and long-term customer satisfaction.
You’ll partner closely with product leadership, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Customer Success to bring innovative ideas to life. We’re looking for a strategic leader who is passionate about the nonprofit space, comfortable with ambiguity, and ready to roll up their sleeves.
What You’ll Do- Build and lead a high-performing product team by mentoring Product Managers and aligning their work with organizational goals
- Own the financial performance of the nonprofit product portfolio (bookings, revenue, retention), providing insights and recommendations to improve outcomes
- Drive pricing, packaging, and new product development strategies to maximize customer value and business growth
- Champion customer needs and translate feedback into actionable product strategies
- Shape and continuously improve the product development methodology based on industry best practices
- Evangelize the product vision internally and externally, building cross-functional alignment around strategy
- Develop and maintain a roadmap that balances customer needs, business priorities, and long-term innovation
- Define and monitor KPIs to evaluate product performance and team effectiveness
- Stay abreast of trends and changes in the nonprofit and member-based organization space to inform market strategy
What You Bring
- Successful candidates will demonstrate:
- Commercial product leadership – Proven success leading B2B SaaS product teams, ideally with experience in vertical software or mission-driven sectors
- Team leadership – Experience building and mentoring high-performing teams with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Strategic thinking – Ability to set a compelling vision and make disciplined tradeoffs in a fast-moving environment
- Market expertise – Understanding of nonprofit operations, funding models, and service delivery to shape relevant, high-impact products
- Customer advocacy – A deep appreciation for the customer voice and a commitment to solving their problems through intuitive, scalable software
- Cross-functional execution – Strong partnership skills with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Support, and Customer Success to drive product outcomes
- Results orientation – Focus on measurable impact and continuous improvement
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in B2B SaaS Product Management, ideally with some exposure to nonprofit or vertical markets
- 3+ years of direct people management experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
- Product management certification (e.g., Pragmatic, AIPMM, etc.) preferred
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
The salary range for this role is $158,400 - $221,900 per year. Where you fall within the pay range is based on how you demonstrate the attributes and competencies required for the role. We mostly reserve the upper half of our compensation bands for internal growth. In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, performance-based incentives, and opportunities for growth.
