Step into a dynamic school-based contract role supporting K-12 students’ communication and learning in a close-knit educational environment near Albertville, AL. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll work across three proximate school sites, collaborating with dedicated educators and families to foster student success throughout the academic year, from August 12, 2026, through May 26, 2027. With a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours over five days, you’ll make a profound difference in students’ lives—while enjoying stable, consistent hours.

Qualifications:

• Active Alabama SLP License required
• Open to SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or those with pediatric or school-based SLP experience
• Strong background in healthcare and pediatric speech-language pathology preferred
• Experience supporting diverse K-12 age groups
• Exceptional communication, organization, and collaborative skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive speech-language services, including evaluation, direct intervention, and progress monitoring
• Develop tailored treatment plans addressing students’ unique needs across elementary, middle, and high school levels
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student IEP goals
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and compliance with all state, local, and school policies
• Travel between three closely situated school sites as needed (all sites are conveniently located nearby)
• Offer expert guidance and education to students, staff, and families throughout the school year
