JOB SUMMARY & MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

The purpose of this entry-level position is to train and successfully advance through the plant technician curriculum and to perform preventative maintenance and minor corrective maintenance activities at the Lowman Energy Center (LEC) facilities. This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. The applicant must make an acceptable score on the pre-­employment placement exercise. The incumbent must successfully participate in the Power Production Employee Training and Development Program curriculum. Working conditions include working twelve (12) hour rotating shifts.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs preventive maintenance and assists in minor corrective maintenance of the Lowman facilities.
• Performs routine inspections of the Lowman facilities to detect abnormal conditions or conditions that require repairs.
• Successfully participates in and completes classroom and on the job training, including observation of safety rules and practices and environmental compliance guidelines, maintaining a clean work area and identifying potential problems and hazards required for the positions and assists in training other plant technicians as required.
