Our facility in Courtland, Alabama has an immediate opportunity for a Level 2 Material Requirements Planner to join our mission. In this role, you will support the tactical and strategic needs of a fast-paced and highly technical build cycle. No two days will be the same but every day will be filled with supporting the creation of some of the most technically advanced items ever to fly. In this role you will be responsible for the make part planning of all the parts in an assigned MRP Code(s) which will include such activities as the following: Production order release, monitoring, and closure Facilitation of kit creation and delivery Material Master creation and management Manufacturing Bill of Material review Monitoring and recording of material usage Exception message monitoring and control Understand a high-level status of all WIP and related consumable demand Conduct floor stock availability and expiration date audits Understand a high-level status of all WIP and related consumable demand #LMSPACEMRPCTLNDHVL
Basic Qualifications:
1-2 years of prior Supply Chain or Shop Floor Support experience in a technical manufacturing environment (e.g. Aerospace, Automotive, Farm Implement, etc.) Experience working in an ERP/MRP environment (SAP, Oracle, etc.) Must be a United States citizen with an active Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
Bachelors degree 3+ years of prior Supply Chain or Shop Floor Support experience in a technical manufacturing environment (e.g. Aerospace, Automotive, Farm Implement, etc.) Experience in SAP Experience with manufacturing in a development environment Experience with manufacturing Defense products APICS/ASCM certification(s) Experience working with a Quality Management System (AS or ISO) Green Belt certification To promote the sharing of ideas, Lockheed Martin fosters a work environment that encourages big-picture thinking. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
