Subspecialty Focus: Cytopathology / Surgical Pathology

The Opportunity:

Join a well-established private practice feel, offering a balanced workload in a 70,000 square foot laboratory. This group values a collaborative environment while pursuing diagnostic excellence and offering long-term stability.

About the Practice:

• Well-established private practice that is partnered with a large commercial lab

• Currently 3 Pathologists in practice

• Providing surgical pathology and cytopathology services to eight (8) hospitals and five (5) referring physician group clients in Central and Southern Alabama

Position Highlights:

• Subspecialty focus - GI Pathology, Cytopathology, and Surgical Pathology

• Advancement opportunities

• Pathologist-led group that is growth-oriented

Candidate Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
• GI Fellowship training preferred
• Fellowship training in Cytopathology or Surgical Pathology is a plus
• Strong computer skills and digital pathology skills is a plus
• Experience in gynecologic and non-gynecologic Cytology highly preferred

• Eligible for medical licensure in AL

• Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset
