As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting in maintaining a secure environment for all occupants.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the interior and exterior areas of the healthcare facility to help to deter unauthorized activity and to identify potential security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious behavior within the healthcare location.
- Document and report any incidents, observations, or concerns according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
- Collaborate with medical staff and other personnel to address security-related issues while maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor.
- Support access control procedures, visitor management, and enforcement of site rules and regulations as directed by Allied Universal and client policies.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A Guard Card or security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
