Job Summary

We are seeking an Associate User Researcher to support research activities that inform the design and delivery of digital products within a large-scale customer experience and AI transformation initiative. This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to improving both customer and employee experiences across eCommerce, point-of-sale, onboarding, and internal tools.

Job Description

• Support day-to-day research activities in coordination with senior researchers to deliver actionable insights
• Assist with participant recruitment, scheduling, and preparation of research materials
  
• Take detailed notes and capture observations during interviews, usability tests, and workshops
  
• Organize and compile raw research data for analysis and reporting
  
• Develop and maintain tagging taxonomy within a research repository to ensure structured, accessible data for future insights and AI applications
  
• Contribute to research documentation, including journey maps and persona updates
  
• Support execution of rapid-turnaround usability tests, surveys, and other tactical research efforts
  
• Ensure all research activities comply with privacy, accessibility, and ethical standards
• Shift: 9am - 5pm EST

Skills Required

• 0–2 years of experience in UX research, research operations, or a related field (internships and academic experience welcome)
• Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research methods (e.g., interviews, surveys, usability testing)
  
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  
• Experience with note-taking, documentation, and data organization
  
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (research, design, product)
  
• Proficiency with tools such as Google Meet, Miro, and Excel/Google Sheets
  
• Exposure to platforms like UserTesting or Dovetail is a plus
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
  
• Interest in developing a career in user research and growing through mentorship

Education

• H igh S chool Diplom a or GED required

Pay Rate

• $44 - $49 per hour (Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors)
