**Job Description**
As part of the OCI Multimodal AI Science Team, we are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead image generation model research and development efforts. As the video generation model scientist lead, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of cutting-edge video generation and manipulation technologies. You will lead a team of world-class scientists in exploring new frontiers of video synthesis, style transfer, and video editing.
**Qualifications:**
+ PhD Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Linguistics or a related field with a dissertation, thesis or final project centered in Machine Learning and Deep Learning) with 4+ years relevant experience is preferred but not a must; OR Masters or Bachelor's in related field with 8+ years relevant experience
+ Strong publication record, including as a lead author or reviewer, in top-tier journals or conferences.
+ Extensive experience in image generation, computer vision, and deep learning
+ Proven track record of leading research and development projects
+ Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and architectures
+ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
+ Strong leadership and communication abilities
**Responsibilities**
+ **Research:** Conducting in-depth research on image and video generation techniques, including generative adversarial networks (GANs), diffusion models, and other emerging approaches.
+ **Model Development:** Designing, developing, and training state-of-the-art generation models that meet the highest quality standards.
+ **Team Leadership:** Building and mentoring a high-performing team of scientists and engineers to execute on ambitious technical goals.
+ **Collaboration:** Partnering with cross-functional teams to integrate advanced generation capabilities into applications and products.
+ **Innovation:** Identifying new opportunities for generation technology and exploring emerging trends in the space.
+ **Industry Awareness:** Staying current with advancements in both image and video generation, ensuring our approaches remain cutting-edge.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $120,100 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
