About the job

We are seeking an experienced Master Data Management (MDM) Solution Architect for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role will lead the design, implementation, and operational support of MDM solutions across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management and architecture, with the ability to align MDM strategies with business objectives while supporting data governance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-level MDM architecture and reference models.
• Create and maintain master data documentation such as data flow diagrams, data lineage, and catalogs.
• Define and execute strategies for data integration, matching, survivorship, and stewardship.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable MDM solutions.
• Support data migration, profiling, and cleansing to ensure high-quality master data.
• Provide oversight on MDM tools and platforms, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Partner with governance and business teams to establish data standards and best practices.
• Mentor team members and provide technical guidance for data-related projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in data management and architecture, with expertise in MDM solutions .
• Proficiency in data modeling, data integration (ETL), and data quality tools .
• Strong understanding of data governance principles and data stewardship processes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP ) and hybrid data architectures.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience with Agile or DevOps methodologies preferred .
