About Us:

Studio Kash is a creative hub in the heart of Northport Village, home to Kasher Gallery and Studios. We blend design, technology, and storytelling to craft brands, websites, and digital experiences for a growing roster of clients, from local businesses and artists to community organizations and national brands.

We’re a small, growing studio , and we’re looking for the right person to grow with us . Our work spans visual identity systems, UX/UI, digital storytelling, experiential design, and web , all within a collaborative and community-driven environment.

The Role:

We’re seeking a Visual & Digital Experience Designer (Graphic, UX/UI, Web) who pairs strong visual craft with user-centered thinking. You’ll collaborate closely with our in-house creative team to bring brands to life across print, digital, and interactive platforms, shaping intuitive, beautiful experiences and helping manage the day-to-day creative flow of our studio.

Operations note: On some days, you’ll also be responsible for opening and organizing the gallery/studio , greeting visitors, managing light front-desk tasks, and ensuring the space runs smoothly when other team members are offsite.

Responsibilities:

• Design and refine brand identities, campaigns, and design systems for clients and studio initiatives
• Create wireframes, user flows, low/high-fidelity mockups, and clickable prototypes (Figma)
• Translate systems into responsive, accessible web layouts and digital content
• Manage and frequently update our Squarespace sites (pages, galleries, events, SEO, store items)
• Support with WordPress/Webflow as needed (QA, light development coordination)
• Contribute to component libraries, design tokens, and brand consistency guidelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including developers and clients to understand goals and translate them into effective visual solutions
• Assist with photo/video content , TikTok/Instagram growth , and quick-turn visuals (Canva/Adobe Express)
• Conduct light user research or usability checks , and use data or feedback to inform design improvements
• Stay current with design trends, UX best practices, and emerging technologies
• Help maintain organization of the studio (managing supplies, display layouts, print materials, and gallery setup for exhibitions or events)

You Bring:

• 2–4+ years in visual, graphic, or UX/UI design (agency, in-house, or freelance experience welcome)
• A strong portfolio showing thoughtful systems, clean typography/layout, and web/UI work (flows, prototypes, and design systems)
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud
• Experience with Squarespace (required) for frequent site updates; WordPress or Webflow a plus
• Comfort with basic HTML/CSS and working alongside developers
• Strong understanding of usability, accessibility (WCAG basics), and responsive design
• Excellent organization and communication skills . The ideal candidate is self-sufficient, reliable, and collaborative
• Awareness of analytics and content performance tools (Google Analytics, social insights, A/B testing)
• Bonus: Photography, motion design, or content creation experience

Compensation:

• Starting rate: $16/hour with room for growth
• Additional pay for event setup/support hours
