Job Summary:
The Banquet Server sets up the Banquet Room and serves food and/or beverages in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner according to hotel standards.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Examine trays to ensure that they contain the required items.
- Place food servings on plates or trays according to orders.
- Monitor food distribution and ensure meals are delivered correctly, following guidelines for special diets.
- Load trays with accessories like utensils and napkins.
- Clean and sterilize dishes, utensils, and equipment.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with excellent customer service skills.
Education & Experience:
- Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of walking, standing, and sitting.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
