Senior System Administrator - Virtualization
MOMENTUM. is looking for a Senior System Administrator on an effort supporting our Federal Government Client in Huntsville, AL. The SSA/Virtualization shall plan, lead projects as required and be capable of producing a complete delineation of products and services, support equipment, computer, and electronic equipment installations required for the site to fully support mission operations. The SSA/Virtualization shall plan, direct, and, if necessary, conduct regular, special, and integrated system test programs on virtualization equipment. The SSA/Virtualization shall prepare and conduct special reports and presentations that contain actionable information, which is pertinent to individual site operations. The SSA/Virtualization shall conduct integrated equipment system test. She/he shall plan, prepare and conduct on the job training to FBI and junior Contractor personnel, as required. The SSA/Virtualization shall coordinate with other field engineers to the benefit of the FBI and specifically, ONTU. The SSA/Virtualization shall support the unit with other duties as assigned within the scope of work.

In this role, you will:
Install, configure, implement, and validate installation of components on networks including but not limited to:
Citrix XenServer and XenApp
Citrix Components: Delivery Controller. Storefront. Federal Authentication Server (FAS) Licensing
Citrix NetscalerMPX (FIPS)
Citrix - Version 22+, currently on 2402, the team is okay if candidate is lighter on the Citrix side if their PowerShell skillset is stronger, experience with deploying and configuring controllers, need to have more experience with Virtual vs. Netscaler, MCS is preferred over PVS (PVS is not used).
Microsoft (current Version) Hyper-V Manager
Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM)
Hypervisors and virtualization sub-systems
PowerShell scripting
Splunk - Splunk Deployment Server / Universal Forwarder (9.4.3), dashboard experience.

If you're right for this role, you have:
Active Top-Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Poly
Cisco Certified Network Associate Enterprise Core and Infrastructure certification
Experience in Computer networking technologies, specifically with Cisco switches
A relevant industry certification, such as COMPTIA Network+, Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA), etc.
Experience leading teams of personnel with Network Administrator skills
Four (4) year college degree in system administration, information technology, computer science, computer engineering, plus five (5) years' experience designing, managing, administering, documenting, troubleshooting, and supporting multiple, heterogeneous computer networks in both production and development environments as detailed above. Or in lieu of education ten (10) plus years of experience in designing, managing, administering, documenting, troubleshooting, and supporting multiple, heterogeneous computer networks in both production and development environments. If utilizing in lieu of education, all experience must be at or above the position level described above.
