The Lockheed Martin Next Generation Interceptor \(NGI\) team is seeking an experienced Systems Engineering Associate Manager to be part of the leadership team in developing missile defense technology that could forever change our ability to deter and respond to adversity\.
As the **Booster Systems Engineer Associate Manager** you will:
- Lead and provide direction for a team of systems engineers
- Conduct technical planning and effectively communicate interdependencies to formulate integrated plans
- Conduct regularly occurring status meetings and identify solutions to stay on schedule
- Track earned value metrics \(EVM\) and provide course correction as required
- Provide management of MBSE, requirement derivation, interface definition, and verification planning
- Perform systems/hardware/software integration
- Develop effective presentations that thoughtfully communicate information to the customer at major design reviews and status meetings
- Identify personnel needs, post requisitions, interview, hire, and train
The ideal candidate will have both good interpersonal skills and leadership abilities as well as a solid understanding of requirements development and verification planning\.

**Basic Qualifications:**
- Knowledge and experience applying Systems Engineering to a development program and one or more of the below listed Systems Integration functions:
1\. Technical leadership experience of a multidisciplinary team
2\. Developing an Integrated Master Schedule \(IMS\)
3\. Developing Concepts of Operation \(CONOPs\) and/or Cameo Activity Diagrams
4\. Conducting requirements derivation and decomposition
5\. Conducting requirement verification
6\. Managing requirements and verification with DOORS software
7\. Experience conducting systems integration activities
8\. Defining electrical and mechanical interfaces
9\. Test planning and execution with an understanding of all the interdependencies
10\. Developing presentations that thoughtfully and effectively communicate information to upper management and the customer
- Active or Current Secret clearance required; US Citizenship
**Desired Skills:**
- Experience ensuring the physical and functional compatibility of hardware/software products throughout the full lifecycle of the program
- Experience conducting mechanical, electrical, and/or logical compatibility analyses
- Experience interacting with hardware and software developers to ensure mission requirements are understood and satisfied
- Experience leading teams/projects with proven results
- Experience working with Missile Defense Agency \(MDA\) Customer
- Experience negotiating plans with external dependencies
- Experience executing on a challenging schedule
- Understanding of Model\-Based Systems Engineering practices and tools
